Method

  • Slice and then freeze the banana - the riper the banana, the better
  • Once frozen, put the banana slices into a blender or food processor and blend until creamy - add a little water or milk if the mixture is too thick
  • Roast hazelnuts in an un-oiled pan
  • Crush the hazelnuts into pieces once they have cooled. You can use a rolling pin or even a tin to do this.
  • Top the ice cream with the hazelnuts and a sprinkling of cinnamon
