Easy carbonara

Ingredients

  • Pasta, whole wheat, all kinds

    45g

  • Ham, smoked

    (3.8 slices) 80g

  • Eggs

    (1 pc) 60g

  • Olive oil

    (0.2 tsp) 3g

  • Tomatoes

    (1 pc) 90g

Method

  • Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the packet
  • Melt the oil in a pot over a medium heat and add the chopped ham
  • Drain the cooked pasta and rinse under cold water to stop it from sticking together
  • Add the pasta and eggs to the pot with the ham, season with salt and pepper and stir until the egg is cooked
  • Serve alongside the tomatoes and top with the grated cheese
