Method

  • Boil the eggs. Boil for 5 minutes for a soft egg, 7 minutes for a set yolk or 10 minutes for hard boiled
  • Remove the pot from the heat, drain the hot water and replace with cold water
  • Allow the eggs to cool for a few minutes before peeling and then season with salt and pepper
  • Serve with the apple or save it for later
