Method

  • Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C (fan assisted)/gas mark 7 and line a baking tray with baking paper
  • Dry chickpeas with a paper towel
  • Put the chickpeas in a bowl, add the oil and toss the chickpeas to coat in oil
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic and chilli pepper
  • Put the chickpeas on the baking tray and bake for 30 minutes, or until browned and crunchy
